Dani Alves has the medical all-clear to return to action and has made the trip to San Sebastian to face Real Sociedad, as have Lionel Messi and Neymar. The South American trio were the last Barça players to report for duty after the Christmas holidays.
Alves had been carrying a hamstring strain, which he picked up prior to the festive break, but has been training normally since returning to Barcelona
. None of Jordi Masip, Marc Bartra, Douglas and Sergi Roberto made the cut for the visit to the Anoeta, while Thomas Vermaelen remains out injured.
