Neymar: I always want to play

Barcelona winger Neymar recently returned from his extended Christmas holiday and joined his team for Friday’s training session, where the Brazilian star told reporters that he is fully prepared to face Real Sociedad on Sunday.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Neymar admitted that despite just coming off two weeks holiday, he is ready to face Real Sociedad and avenge last season’s loss.

 “I’m very eager to play. I always want to play and I’m feeling good.

” Neymar scored his first brace with Barcelona against Real Sociedad on 24 September 2013 but suffered in the 3-1 loss at Anoeta in the return leg.

 After struggling with his fitness following an ankle injury against PSG, Neymar has been inconsistent and even when he was declared fit to face Cordoba, he was left on the bench.

 Neymar is likely to start from the bench again on Sunday, as Barcelona gears up for an exhausting January schedule of La Liga and Copa del Rey ties. Please don’t forget to participate in our
